It contains an archived list of great fitness-related discussions, an extensive source of fitness links and a complete fitness bookstore with reviews of top selections. Moreover, it also contains info that you just don't see on other sites including a database of addresses for top fitness pro's and a listing of TV programs pertaining to exercise. All in all, this site is a real powerhouse! Check it out.

About Exercise is a popular search engine that is divided into many different "categories" for ease of use. The exercise guide is not only a great source of links, but also includes a wealth of fitness related information. They have weekly features, fitness & nutrition tips, recipes, fitness utilities, a fitness discussion list, and a huge resource of categorized links. Whether you're looking for a specific site or just want some good info, check it out!
Cyberdiet
Cyberdiet is packed with nutritional information. It takes an interactive approach to nutrition, providing a complete solution to constructing a sensible nutritional regimen. There are a host of assessment tools, a searchable database of foods, and a daily food planner. It even has a customized program that can be accessed by entering in specific personal information. All in all, this is one of the most unique sites that I've seen dealing with complexities of nutrition. Check it out. Check it out.

Human Kinetics is the premier fitness and sports publisher in the world. If it's related to fitness and nutrition, Human Kinetics has a book on the subject. Their site is extremely well designed and contains a lot more than just books. There is a gateway to a wealth of information on physical fitness, including job opportunities, upcoming events and a listing of associations related to fitness. Check it out!
Women's Health
Women's Health is a terrific source of information for all areas of women's health. The site targets all age ranges, from adolescence on up to the post-menopausal years. There are categories on areas including gynecological health, sex, looks and more. In addition, there are articles on a variety of topics including how to choose a midwife, getting rid of yeast infections and more. The site is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Check it out!

iVillage is a great overall site for today's woman. It promises to deliver everything for women--and it delivers. There are dozens of different channels covering the gamut of women's issues. And the design of the site, although a little overwhelming at first, is unparalleled in its aesthetics. Check it out!

Thriveonline, part of the Oxygen network, is a multidimensional health and fitness site that specifically caters to women. In addition to articles and fitness-related news stories, it has a lot of unique qualities. Fitness quizzes, activity planners, and a geographic fitness locator are but some of the cool features available. There also are an array of interactive chats that span a variety of interests. The site is well designed and easy to navigate. Check it out!

Womensforum.com is one of the most complete women's sites on line. It literally has everything...and more. Every topic of interest to a woman is covered: from family issues to career concerns, this site is a gem. Whether you're a teen or a senior citizen, there's something for you. It also has a terrific layout that is pleasantly uncluttered, giving it a unique and comfortable "feel". Check it out!
DrKoop.com
There's no doubt: DrKoop.com has a wealth of information on all aspects of health and fitness. It has an array of medical subjects from which to choose--more than 80 in total--including topics from acne to travel health. There is a whole section devoted to exercise and contains solid fact-based information. While it is a little cumbersome to view, it's worth the effort. Check it out!

Cuisinenet is provides a unique service: namely, it contains listings, descriptions and reviews of nearly 10,000 restaurants across America. Just pick a city, from New York to Los Angeles or anwhere in between and you'll get a multitude of restaurants from which to choose. For those who like to eat out, this site is a must. Check it out!

Active Log is a cool fitness site that allows you to enter all of your training info and save it on your computer. You can keep track of all of your reps, sets and poundages, allowing you to accurately track your progress. There also is a goal tracker, performance reports and other info that can be valuable tools to help you chart your fitness course. The site is well designed and easy to use. Check it out!
Self.com
Self.com is one of my all-time favorite fitness sites. Run by Conde Nast, it provides a smorgasboard of information that just can't be found on other sites. There are, of course, articles on virtually every facet of fitness. There also is a variety of forums headed by experts in nutrition and exercise, various fitness-oriented calculators, fitness tools and quizzes, food fact finders and much, much more. It will take you weeks just to go through the site. Check it out!
eDiets
eDiets is one of, if not the most, comprehensive fitness sites on the Web. It literally has it all. It allows you to create personalized nutritional programs based on their proprietary software. Whether you're a a type 2 diabetic, a vegetarian who prefers to dine out, or an aspiring gourmet; eDiets.com's personalized plans, updated weekly, are developed to reflect each member's unique needs and lifestyle. There also are daily nutritional tips, great articles and even some advice on exercise. It's definitely worth a look; check it out!
ExRx Online
ExRx Online is unique: no other fitness site has such a great compilation of exercise descriptions. Not only does it contain excellent accounts of kinesiology and anatomy, but there are even video demonstrationsone of the movements--a really cool addition. Other information includes fitness calculators and some good articles on exercise and nutrition. Well-designed and easy to navigate, it is a must-see for any exercise enthusiast; check it out!

Healthline is the online version of the popular print magazine. It contains loads of information on health and fitness, including channels for cosmetics, anti-aging, healing, and exercise. With a fun design and easy navigation, it is a pleasure to surf. Check it out!
Runners World Online
For those who enjoy running, Runners World Online is a terrific resource. As the online counterpart to the popular magazine, this site has virtually everything you can think of for the running enthusiast. Some of the material includes home remedies for running-related ailments, a calendar of road races and marathons, up-to-date road and track results, and a large collection of articles. The presentation is a little busy, but the wealth of information makes this a minor drawback. Check it out!
WebMD
There's no doubt: WebMD is the premier health source on the net. It's home page is refreshingly simple, with a few buttons that take you to various aspects of the site. There's consumer, medical, nursing and other info. Although some of the info is fee-based, there's lot's of free stuff that provides a wealth of information for the consumer or professional. Check it out!
