Brad Schoenfeld, M.Sc., C.S.C.S.

Brad Schoenfeld, M.Sc., C.S.C.S., is an internationally renowned expert on fitness and sports nutrition. As the owner/operator of the exclusive Personal Training Center for Women in Scarsdale, NY, he is considered one of the leading authorities on women's fitness. He is a lifetime drug-free bodybuilder, and has won numerous natural bodybuilding titles including the ANPPC Tri-State Naturals and USA Mixed Pairs crowns.
Brad is the author of multiple best-selling fitness books. Sculpting Her Body Perfect (Human Kinetics Publications, 2007) details cutting-edge training techniques for helping a woman maximize her genetic potential. The book has been endorsed by numerous fitness celebrities and models, and is now in its third edition with over 150,000 copies in print. Look Great Naked (Prentice Hall, 2001), was the #1 book on Amazon.com on multiple occasions and was an LA Times bestseller. Now in its eighth printing, it details a program for targeting and toning a woman's problem areas. Look Great Sleeveless (Prentice Hall, 2002), the follow up to Look Great Naked details a targeted plan for toning up the upper body. Look Great at Any Age (Prentice Hall, 2003), details a workout routine for women over forty and has received high critical acclaim. The Look Great Naked Diet (Penguin/Putnam, 2003), is a cutting-edge, scientifically-based nutritional regimen that shows how to reduce body fat to levels previously thought impossible and keep it off over the long haul. 28-Day Body Shapeover (Human Kinetics, 2005), details the fastest, most effective program for shaping up and slimming down. Brad also is the star of the Look Great Naked Videos: a three-video series that demonstrates targeted high-energy workouts for the abs, butt and thighs. Having trained many of the top fitness models and physique athletes, Brad developed a system of training called High-Energy Fitness™, a three-phased program designed to help a woman sculpt her ideal physique. This system combines weight training into a metabolic-based workout in a way that expedites the loss of body fat while accentuating lean muscle tone. In 1994, he founded the Personal Training Center for Women. This fashionable, private training facility is now considered one of the foremost one-on-one women's fitness centers in the country. Recently, he established Cybertraining and Competition Coaching as Internet-based alternatives to his private training business.
Brad is the national spokesperson for Dreamfields Foods, makers of the world's premier low-carb pasta. He conducts satellite media tours and is involved in various other publicity venues for the company.
Brad is also President of Global Fitness Services, a diverse, multifaceted fitness corporation with several divisions. The consulting division, Fitness Design Concepts, provides a variety of consulting services to corporations, institutions and other entities. The media division, produces the Hot-Bod Newsletter, and the Lookgreatnaked.com Website. He is a popular lecturer, providing seminars and workshops both on the consumer and professional level. Professionally, he has lectured for the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), ECA World Fitness, CanFitPro, Athletic Business Confrence and Club Industry, among others. For consumers, his Look Great Naked Seminars are presented around the country and he has been a regular speaker for the Learning Annex.
Brad is widely regarded as a "trainer of trainers." He is an adjunct professor in the exercise science department at Lehman College in the Bronx, NY, and an adjunct professor in nutritional science at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He also is a faculty and board member at the American Academy of Personal Training in New York City, a vocational school for aspiring fitness trainers.
Brad earned his masters degree in kinesiology/exercise science from the University of Texas. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (by the National Strength and Conditioning Association), and serves as an associate editor for their peer-reviewed Strength and Conditioning Journal. He is triply certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and CanFitPro. He also has received specialty certification in nutrition. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine as well as IDEA Health and Fitness Association, which has bestowed upon him the title of Master Trainer - the highest ranking possible.
