    Standing Calf RaiseStanding Calf Raise: Begin by standing face-forward in a standing calf machine with your shoulders supported by the restraint pads. Place the balls of your feet on the footplate and allow your heels to drop as far below your toes as possible. Slowly rise up as high as you can onto your toes until your calves are fully flexed. Contract your calves and then slowly reverse direction, returning to the start position.
