Get Lean Diet

The following diet is a "competition-style" diet that is intended for those who want to lose bodyfat without sacrificing muscle tone. The diet consists of approximately 1400 calories with a breakdown of 40% carbs, 40% protein and 20% fat. You may need to adjust the caloric content according to your own body type. Consult your physician before starting any nutritional program.

Meal One
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal or cream of wheat
  • 4 eggs, whites only
  • 1 tbspn flaxseed oil
  • coffee or tea
Meal Two
  • Protein shake consisting of 35 grams of protein and 20 grams of complex carbs.
Meal Three
  • Large green salad with tablespoon of olive oil
  • 4 ounces lean fish, poultry or meat
  • 2 slices low calorie whole wheat bread or medium sweet potato or 1/2 cup brown rice
Meal Four
  • Protein shake consisting of 35 grams of protein and 20 grams of complex carbs.
Meal Five
  • 12 ounces green vegetables
  • 4 ounces lean fish, poultry or meat
